US company offers solutions for brokers

HCM City (VNA) – US-based CALGIE Viet Nam introduced a complete set of services for brokerage and portfolio management companies at workshops held in Ho Chi Minh City on December 22. The package includes iProfile Brokerage, iProfile Portfolio Management, iProfile Accounting, Infor Centrix Call Center and INNO Security for Online Trading. Peter Pham, CALGIE Senior Consultant, demonstrated iProfile Brokerage and iProfile Portfolio Management by simulating order taking and processing with a live multi-screen demo of the actual software. “We want to leverage the iProfile solution, which has customers in the USA , Canada and Hong Kong and Viet Nam ,” said Pham. He added that the product had to be customized for specific conditions here, including interfaces to both HoSE and HaSTC along with certain back-office requirements unique to Viet Nam . Technology bottlenecks at the exchanges and depository presently constrain the stock market’s potential in Viet Nam , according to Claude Spiese, a consultant on a feasibility study to design and plan the new trading system at the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre; Securities companies should choose software that can meet current requirements for growing volume yet can accommodate future needs.-Enditem
