Fire at timber processing company caused big loss

Dong Nai (VNA) – A fire has caused losses worth about 2 million USD to the Cheer Hope timber processing company in southern Dong Nai province. The fire, the largest in Dong Nai province over the past five years, occurred at 20:30 on December 21. It started at the painting workshop and then expanded to the whole site, ruining three processing workshops and a store with a large quantity of products for export to Taiwan . Even though more than 1,000 workers were being at work, there was not any loss in life. Police is inquiring into the cause of the fire.-Enditem
