Party leader emphasises importance of moral improvement

Ha Noi (VNA) – The campaign on learning and following the moral example set by President Ho Chi Minh will help with the improvement of spiritual and ethical foundation of society, said Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh at a review meeting in Ha Noi on January 11. He went on to note that the movement will also contribute to sharpening the Party’s leadership and combativeness, and accelerating the renewal process to bring the country out of underdevelopment. Each person should try to follow the shining example of morals set by President Ho Chi Minh in their daily life and work, the Party leader told the central steering board of the movement. The steering board met to discuss preparations for a national congress to review one-year implementation of the movement “Learning and Following the President Ho Chi Minh’s Exemplary Morals” slated for Ha Noi on January 23. After one year, the movement has grown into a large scale political activity, drawing the support and response from all walks of life besides Party members and officials.-Enditem
