NA Chairman works with deputies from Ha Noi

11/01/2008 -- 9:51 PM

Ha Noi (VNA) – National Assembly deputies should seek more ways to converse with voters in order to gain full understanding of their needs and aspirations, said the top legislator.

NA Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong made the comment while working with the Ha Noi National Assembly Deputies’ Delegation in Ha Noi on January 11. The working session focused on reviewing the delegations’ activities in the last half of 2007 and planning operation for this year.

The NA Chairman urged Ha Noi’s NA delegates to reschedule the timetable for their meetings with voters, advising them to meet voters whenever an issue attracting voters’ concern arises.
Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi hailed the Delegation of Ha Noi NA Deputies for practical contributions they have made to the capital city’s socio-economic growth, political stability and social order in 2007.

He expressed hopes that the deputies will continue making other contributions to the city’s development.-Enditem
