Japan to give special attention to Viet Nam’s large projects

Tokyo (VNA) – Japan will give special attention to Viet Nam ’s large projects of strategic significance to the bilateral relations, Japanese Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura told Vietnamese Ambassador Chu Tuan Cap in Tokyo on January 15.

Receiving Ambassador Cap before he ended his term in Japan , FM Komura expressed his hope that the two sides would soon complete their negotiations for signing the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).

Ambassador Cap the same day also met with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Akira Amari, who appreciated the development of the Japan-Viet Nam relations in all fields, especially economy, trade and investment.

Minister Amari extolled the diligence and creativity of Vietnamese workers, particularly those working for Japanese companies in Viet Nam .

He also wished that the two sides would sign the EPA soon to boost bilateral cooperation.-Enditem
