ADB finances irrigation project in Quang Binh

Quang Binh (VNA) – The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide a loan of 204 billion VND for central Quang Binh province to upgrade an irrigation work in Le Thuy – a rice basket district of the locality. The 264 billion VND project is expected to help prevent floods and saline water from encroaching on rice cultivated areas. The project is scheduled for completion by 2011, ensuring water supply for 41,000 ha of rice in 14 communes in Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts.-Enditem
