Foreign firms invest in pharmaceutical company

Ha Noi (VNA) – Trafaco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company has announced three strategic partners: Mekong Capital Investment Management Fund, the Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ Vietnam) and the BIDV-Vietnam Partners (BVIM).

Mekong Capital contributed 5 percent or 400,000 shares; the ANZ, 3.13 percent equivalent to 250,000 shares; and BVIM, 2.5 percent or 200,000 shares.

In 2007, Trafaco earned a revenue of 532 billion VND with 37 billion VND in net profit.

It plans to earn a revenue of 587 billion this year and 45.4 billion VND in net profit.

The company is to complete the process of listing to list its shares at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.-Enditem
