Ha Noi (VNA) – The Ho Chi Minh City bourse and its Ha Noi’s counterpart showed signs of recovery on the January 25 trading session after going down the slope for a long time.

The VN-Index at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) rose 11.91 points to finish at 776.04 points with around 7.8 million shares, worth over 616 billion VND, being traded.

Up to 84 stocks rallied for gains while 19 saw no change and 43 declined.

FPT Corp. (FPT), Tu Liem Urban Development (NTL), Song Da Urban & Industrial Zone Investment and Development (SJS), Vinamilk (VNM) and Tan Tao Industrial Park (ITA) were among the biggest movers of the day.

Meanwhile, the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre’s HaSTC-Index recorded a humble increase of 1.4 points to close at 271.76 points. Over 3.3 million shares, worth 247 billion VND, changed hands.

Experts attributed the domestic market’s recovery to sharp increases in the world market, especially Asia , over the past two days.-Enditem
