Hai Phong: FDI firms enjoy high export growths

Hai Phong (VNA) – Foreign-invested sector in northern Hai Phong city attained a 36.4 percent increase in export turnover in the first month of the year. The sharp rise was attributed to the fact that 30 new projects, worth nearly 400 million USD, started operational in late 2007. Among FDI enterprises’ export items, electric, electronic, mechanical and steel products enjoyed the highest growth. The whole city posted an increase of over 26 percent in export turnover in January.-Enditem
