HCM City (VNA) – The Power Company No. 2 is working on a 81.2 million USD project to lay a 110-kilovolt undersea cable to supply power to Phu Quoc Island .

Nguyen Thanh Duy, manager of Power Company No. 2, said the 50 to 60 km line would be Viet Nam ’s longest undersea power cable.

The island now gets all its electricity from generators.-Enditem
