Tokyo (VNA) – Japanese Emperor Akihito expressed his delight at the continuously increased friendship and cooperation between Viet Nam and Japan over the past years.

When receiving Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Phu Binh, who presented credentials in Tokyo on February 14, Emperor Akihito recalled good memories of State President Nguyen Minh Triet’s visit to Japan last November.

He also expressed hope that Ambassador Binh, in his tenure, will make more important contributions to strengthening the bilateral relationship.-Enditem
