VN-Index dips below 700 points again

Ha Noi (VNA) – Both stock indexes experienced strong declines on the February 26 trading session following a strong recovery on the previous day. The VN-Index of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) slipped 22.13 points or 3.09 percent to finish at 692.91 points with 12 million shares, worth 751 billion VND, changing hands. There was not any buying orders for two blue chips Sacombank (STB) and Phu My Fertilisers (DPM) at the HoSE although they fell to floor prices. On the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre, the HaSTC-Index was pulled down 17.28 points or 7 percent to close at 229.56 points. Some 4.5 million shares were traded at 279 billion VND.-Enditem
