Viet Nam eager to strengthen ties with Brazil

0227Triet.jpgHa Noi (VNA) – State President Nguyen Minh Triet said that Brazilian investors will enjoy a favourable environment alongside with other foreign investors when doing business in Viet Nam .

While receiving Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Nufiez Amorim in Ha Noi on February 27, the Vietnamese leader also spoke of Viet Nam’s willingness to expand cooperation with Brazil in such fields as economy, education, science-technology and culture.

Host and guest talked about the two countries’ implementation of the agreements reached during Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh’s Brazil visit last year.

The Brazilian minister exchanged views with the State President on prospect for future cooperation between the two countries and shared his country’s experience in curbing inflation and eliminating poverty.

The minister said he was confident that President Lula da Silva’s upcoming official visit to Viet Nam will create a new momentum to bring the friendship and cooperation between the two countries to a new height.-Enditem
