Viet Nam-to-China road open to traffic

Ha Noi (VNA) – A highway linking Viet Nam’s Lao Cai province with China’s Yunnan province has opened to traffic, the Beijing Radio reported on February 26. The 56.3-km-long route is the first highway that links China with member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The new road is expected to increase trade between China and Viet Nam as well as between China and ASEAN countries. –Enditem
