VN, Brazil signed protocol on ethanol production

Ha Noi (VNA) – A protocol on Viet Nam-Brazil cooperation in ethanol production and use was signed in Ha Noi on February 27 by Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang and Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim. The signing took place after a working session between the two ministers, who exchanged views on areas of common concerns and discussed preparations for the Brazilian President’s upcoming visit to Viet Nam . According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Viet Nam - Brazil trade value reached 333 million USD in 2007. Viet Nam’s staple exports to Brazil include footwear, coal, rubber, textiles and garments, computers, electronic products and spare parts.-Enditem
