Rules set for tourist accommodation

Ha Noi (VNA) – The Tourism Department has issued Document No. 57/SDL–CSLT requiring the proprietors of all buildings in the capital offering accommodation to obey the municipal regulations governing their activities.

The document obliges the owners to lodge periodical reports to show their premises match the standards set by the tourism department.

The owner of any building offering more than ten rooms for accommodation must register as a hotel within three months from opening.

Buildings of less than 9 rooms do not qualify as a hotel.-Enditem
