National Assembly readies agenda

Ha Noi (VNA) – Legal reform will take centre stage at the third session of the 12th National Assembly on May 6, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong said on February 27. During the session, the National Assembly (NA) will approve 13 draft laws and discuss 10 more, including many revised laws. They will also discuss some reports on socio-economic development and the State budget, a number of supervision reports, reports on voters’ opinions, and answers to NA delegates’ questions. Trong said in order to cut the time of the session whilst ensuring it remains effective, it would be necessary to make sufficient preparations as well as upgrade procedures and working methods. Question and Answer sessions and answers to voters’ questions and proposals are expected to be held in another two days.-Enditem
