Nineteen teams to race for cycling cup in HCMC

HCM City (VNA) - The 20th annual Ha Noi-Hue-Sai Gon cycling race will this year take place from April 11 to 30. Organised by the HCM Television Station, this year’s race has attracted top cyclists from 15 local teams, as well as the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and China. The race, the biggest of the year in Viet Nam, will take place over 18 stages, covering a total distance of nearly 2,000 km. Highlights of the event will be the two legs along the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail in Ha Tinh province and from Binh Dinh through Gia Lai and Da Lac provinces to Nha Trang city in Khanh Hoa province. The final leg of the race in HCM City will take place on April 30, to coincide with the Liberation Day of southern Viet Nam.-Enditem
