Paraguayan Vice President praises VN’s development

Buenos Aires (VNA) – Viet Nam is an example for Paraguay, not only because of its glorious victories against foreign invaders in the past but also for its astounding achievements in national development. Paraguayan Vice President Francisco Oviedo Britez made the comments when receiving Vietnamese Ambassador to Paraguay Thai Van Lung in Asuncion on February 27. Vice President Britez said Paraguay and other countries should follow Viet Nam’s admirable socio-economic achievements in their own pursuit for development. The Paraguayan leader said he was pleased with the good development in the two countries’ relationship and the strong growth in two-way trade in 2007. He said his government values the multi-faceted relationship with Viet Nam and will continue to create all-favourable conditions for both countries’ businesses to boost cooperation for mutual benefit. Viet Nam will be a good market for Paraguay’s raw materials and the South American country is expected to be a promising destination for Vietnamese investors, he added.-Enditem
