Da Nang (VNA) – Construction of the giant foreign-invested Da Phuoc International Urban Project kicked off in central Da Nang city on February 29.
With an investment capital of 250 million USD, it is one of the largest foreign-invested projects in Da Nang so far.
Covering 210ha, the urban project plan includes resorts, a 18-hole golf course, a habour for cruise ships, hotels, a conventional centre, a 60-storey office building, trade centres, luxury villas and 8,500 apartments.
Daewon Cantavil, part of the Republic of Korea ’s Deawon group, is managing construction of the project and says it plans to complete 400 apartments by August 2009. The remaining plans will be built over the next ten years.
During the construction launch, the Daewon group presented 200 million VND to Da Nang city’s Fund for the Poor.-Enditem
