Wushu team to get one more artist

Ha Noi (VNA) - The International Wushu Federation has invited an eighth Vietnamese wushu artist to participate in the Beijing Olympics in August. The federation made its announcement after seeing a tape of Nguyen Mai Phuong’s performance at the 2007 World Wushu Championship. Wushu, which is both taolu (performance) and sanshou (combat), is listed as a special in this year’s Olympics and will be known as the 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament, which will run from August 21 to 24.-Enditem
