Earthquake strikes northern Lai Chau province

Lai Chau (VNA) – An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit Muong Te district in the northwestern mountainous province of Lai Chau in the afternoon of March 3. No casualties were reported from the province, which had previously been rocked by quakes several times. The Centre for Earthquake Information and Tsunami Forecasts at the Geophysics Institute is observing the earthquake’s developments.-Enditem
