Twenty-five catfish producers removed from US tariff review list

Ha Noi (VNA) –Twenty-five Vietnamese catfish producers have been removed from the US Department of Commerce (DOC)’s list for administrative review of anti-dumping tariffs for the fourth phase from August 1, 2006 to July 31, 2007. According to the Viet Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), at present, only seven Vietnamese businesses remain in the DOC’s list. They include the An Giang Fisheries Import and Export Joint Stock Co., the Anvifish Co. Ltd., the An Xuyen Co. Ltd., the QVD Food Co. Ltd, the QVD Dong Thap Food Co. Ltd., the Hung Thuan Co. Ltd. and the Lian Heng Trading Co. Ltd. DOC will delay the announcement of its fourth administrative review results until September 2 rather than May 2 as scheduled, VASEP added.-Enditem
