Viet Nam wins 8 gold in Hong Kong Judo Open

Ha Noi (VNA) – Vietnamese judokas took home eight gold medals at the Hong Kong Open tournament which concluded on March 3 in Hong Kong . Although the Vietnamese players were young faces and it was the first time they were participating in an international tournament, they held their ground beating opponents from Japan ,the Republic of Korea and Iran who are world’s judo powerhouses, said coach Nguyen Quoc Thang. Viet Nam sent a team of 13 martial artists to compete against strong rivals from 12 countries and territories. – Enditem
