Approaching roads to Phu My Bridge to be built

HCM City (VNA) – Approaching roads to Phu My Bridge will be built under the Build-Transfer (BT) form at a cost of over 1.4 trillion VND (87.5 million USD). To this effect, a contract was signed by Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Huu Tin and General Director of the Phu My Bridge BOT Joint Stock Company Nguyen Thanh Thai in Ho Chi Minh City on March 6. The project is expected to be finished in late 2009, coinciding with the completion of Phu My Bridge. Vice Chairman Tin said Phu My Bridge and the approaching roads are among important traffic works in Ho Chi Minh City that link the southern economic hub with sea ports, industrial and export processing zones, helping reduce traffic congestions.-Enditem
