Binh Duong told to get off its can

Binh Duong (VNA) – Local leaders in the southern province of Binh Duong should not rest on their laurels in pursuing socio-economic development, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung has said. The deputy PM was speaking at a working session with the provincial government on March 6. Hung urged the province to develop lucrative industries to boost the quality and competitiveness of the local economy. He also asked the province to strike a balance between cultivation and livestock breeding. The province now has 1,669 foreign-direct investment projects worth 9,7billion USD.-Enditem
