Billions of VND for Khmers to promote production

Soc Trang (VNA) - The Vinh Chau district in the southern province of Soc Trang will receive almost 2 billion VND from the State budget as aid to promote production for the ethnic minority Khmer community in 2008. The funding will provide free fry for 450 target families to boost fish farming and also be used to restore the traditional craft of rush mat making. It is second phase of the poverty reduction programme.--Enditem
