Both bourses continue upward trend

Ha Noi (VNA) – Both the Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi bourses continued their upward trend during the March 10 trading session.

At closing, the VN-Index at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) added 18.15 points or 2.83 percent, to finish at 658.29 points. More than 26 million shares worth more than 1.6 trillion VND changed hands.

The ceiling prices of blue chips like Binh Dinh Mining (BMC) and Binh Minh Plastics (BMP) fell.

The Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre (HaSTC) saw the trading of more than 13 million shares, worth 786 billion VND. The HaSTC-Index gathered 7.56 points, or 3.35 percent, to close at 233.11 points.

APEC-Ha Noi Securities Company’s Dinh Anh Kim, who heads up the company’s business affairs section, said buying orders were eight times higher than selling orders today where big investors sold shares and small ones bought them.-Enditem
