RoK boosts electronics manufacturing in Bac Ninh

Bac Ninh (VNA) – Northern Bac Ninh province has granted licences to seven Republic of Korea investors to manufacture electronic parts and accessories. With a combined investment of 47.2 million USD, the RoK businesses will build manufacturing plants on 22.5ha in the Yen Phong Industrial Zone. The plants will produce keyboards, laser printer spare-parts, circuit boards and other electronic equipment at a capacity of up to 8 million units per year. The biggest of the projects is Flexcom’s 11.5 million USD plant to produce computer keyboards at a capacity of 240,500 units per year. The projects, once operational, are expected to provide jobs to more than 2,000 workers.-Enditem
