Party General Secretary welcomes Croatia’s President

Ha Noi (VNA) – General Secretary Nong Duc Manh met with Croatian President Stjepan Mesic in Ha Noi on March 10. The President Stjepan Mesic, on a three-day visit to Viet Nam , said Croatia has always valued friendly relations and traditional cooperation with Viet Nam . He said Croatia will work to boost multifaceted cooperation between the two countries and their people, and spoke highly of Viet Nam ’s prestige and position in the region and the world at large. General Secretary Nong Duc Manh welcomed President Mesic’s visit, saying it was a clear indication of the fine relationship between Viet Nam and Croatia . General Secretary Manh said Viet Nam , with its open foreign policy, has always treasured ties with its traditional friends, including Croatia . The Party leader also said he hoped bilateral cooperation as well as cooperation in international forums, especially at the United Nations Security Council, will develop further.-Enditem
