Switzerland helps nation in forest management

Ha Noi (VNA) - The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has provided 458,000 USD for Viet Nam to implement a three-year project on sustainable forest management and forest product business in the Mekong region. The project, starting in 2008, aims to help local wood enterprises get Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificates, thus facilitate their access to the world market.-Enditem
