Electrolux donates funds for orphanage

Ha Noi (VNA) – Electrolux Viet Nam on March 18 donated 1 billion VND (62,500 USD) to the Nguyen Viet Xuan Orphanage Boarding School in Ha Noi. Prominent among the attendees present at the event to mark the donation was former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh, who is also chairwoman of the council for Vietnamese children’s Protection Fund. A similar amount was also donated to the Thu Duc Teenagers’ Village in HCM City last Friday. “The funds will help the orphanages’ students improve their studies and supply them with other necessities,” said Electrolux general director Lynn Ong Deprat.-Enditem
