EZs: Workers to enjoy personal income tax reduction

Ha Noi (VNA) – Foreign and domestic workers at economic zones (EZs) will enjoy a 50 percent reduction in personal income tax, according to the Government’s recent decree. Under Decree No 29/2008/ND-CP on industrial zones, export processing zones and economic zones, investors having projects at industrial zones on expanding industries and fields belonging to the list of preferential investment fields will enjoy preferential status regulated by the attached list. Hi-tech and other key important projects will enjoy the best preferential treatment status in accordance with the law on corporate income tax, said the decree.-Enditem
