RoK Fund grants scholarships to Vietnamese students

Ha Noi (VNA) – The Republic of Korea ’s Lotte Fund has given 6,500 USD in scholarships for 10 Vietnamese students from Ha Noi National University and Ha Noi University. The scholarships are part of the fund’s annual scholarship plan, which will give 31,200 USD in scholarships to 20 students who are following Republic of Korea (RoK) studies in four universities in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City . According to the RoK Ambassador to Viet Nam , Im Hong-jae, the Lotte Fund plans to invite three teachers from the Ha Noi National, the Ha Noi and the Ho Chi Minh City National universities to visit the country in the second half of this year. The teachers will attend training courses for masters or PhDs on the RoK studies worth 110,000 USD.-Enditem
