Vietnamese doctors give free eye surgery in Cambodia

Phnom Penh (VNA) – A group of 40 Vietnamese doctors conducted free eye surgeries on 200 poor patients in Phnom Penh and nearby provinces from March 21-22. The Vietnamese doctors, who are from the Military Hospital 175 and the Ho Chi Minh City Eye Hospital also gave free eye examinations and medicines to more than 100 other patients. Earlier in June, 2007, doctors from the two hospitals also conducted free eye examinations and surgeries to more than 300 poor patients in Cambodia.-Enditem
