FPT breaks ground on research centre

HCM City (VNA) - FPT Land , a subsidiary of Financing and Promoting Technology Corporation (FPT), began construction on a centre for technology research and software development in Hi-Tech Park in District 9 of Ho Chi Minh City. The company has put 144 billion VND (9 million USD) into the centre. The finished building will include various office departments, an exhibition centre and a research department. Once in operation, the company hopes to improve their software production, and boost research efforts to sell products to local and export markets. Construction is divided into two phases, with the first phase expected to be completed by the end of this year.-Enditem
