Free surgery for victims of bone, joint diseases

HCM City (VNA) – A 60-member delegation of the US-run Operation Walk (OPW), a non-profit medical services organisation, is providing free surgery for 60 Vietnamese patients who suffer bone and joint diseases at HMC City Trauma and Orthopaedic Hospital between March 28 and April 4. In Vietnam for the first time, OPW also presented four tonnes of medicine and medical equipment worth 20 million USD to the hospital. The organisation’s doctors also led sessions on advanced treatments and surgical techniques for local surgeons and technicians who specialise in bone and joints.-Enditem
