Thanh Hoa welcomes first four test-tube babies

Thanh Hoa (VNA) – Four test-tube babies were successfully delivered at Thanh Hoa Maternity Hospital in central Thanh Hoa province on April 1. The three girls and one boy, weighing between 2.6-2.9 kg at birth, are the first babies to be born in the province with the help of in-vitro fertilisation. Since July 2007, the provincial Maternity Hospital has helped 11 women conceive through in-vitro fertilisation under assistance from the Hanoi-based Central Maternity Hospital.-Enditem
