Influenza type A vaccine test successful

Hanoi (VNA) – The group of volunteers for influenza type A (H5N1) vaccine were in normal health 10 hours after receiving the second injection of the vaccine in the Central Epidemiology Institute on April 3 morning. Dr. Trinh Thi Ngoc, deputy head of the Infectious Disease Department of Bach Mai Hospital, said that 28 days after taking the first injection of H5N1 vaccine, the volunteers – 10 researchers from the Institute of Vaccines and Biological Products No. 1 – were in normal health condition. According to the World Health Organisation, a dose of influenza type A (H5N1) vaccine will be effective with two injections of 1ml each and the 2 nd injection is given 28 days after the first.-Enditem
