Vietnamese writer wins top prize in Sweden

Hanoi (VNA) – Writer Nguyen Ngoc Thuan has bagged a top award in Sweden for his children’s book Vua Nham Mat Vua Mo Cua So (Closing Eyes, Opening the Window).

Thuan received the Peter Pan prize for best book written for children by a foreigner. The 36-year-old will receive his award at the prize-giving ceremony at the International Book Fair in Sweden this September.

The book published in Sweden , entitled Blunda, also won a prize from the Ho Chi Minh City Writers’ Association.-Enditem
