Organisation gives out helmets to schools

HCM City (VNA) – Project Helmets, a subsidiary of the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation (AIPF), on April 22 gave away 500 helmets for children and teachers at Hoa Lu Kindergarten. Celebrity singers Lam Truong and Hien Thuc attended the ceremony as role models to teach children correct usage of the helmets and stress the need for road safety when traveling with their parents. Statistics from the AIPF show that only around 15 percent of the children are wearing helmets nationwide.-Enditem
