Work starts on road axis in Ha Tay province

Ha Tay (VNA) – Work has begun on a road axis and three new urban areas in the southern region of Ha Tay province, neighbouring Hanoi capital city.

A ground breaking ceremony was held in Ha Dong city, Ha Tay province, on April 26 with the attendance of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung.

The Civil Engineering Corporation 5 (Cienco 5) will carry out the projects at a total investment of 13 trillion VND (812.5 million USD), including 6.07 trillion VND (380 million USD) for the road.

Connecting Ha Tay province with the National Highway 1, the 41.5km road is expected to be completed within 60 months to facilitate traffic to Hai Phong city and Quang Ninh province in the north as well as to southern Vietnam .

The three urban areas will be built on a total acreage of 570ha in Phu Luong and Kien Hung communes of Ha Dong city and My Hung, Tam Hung and Cu Khe communes of Thanh Oai district.

The project to build these urban areas, designed by NamWon Group of the Republic of Korea , was licenced by Ha Tay province in early April.-Enditem
