Cao Bang builds mangan dioxide plant

Cao Bang (VNA) – The Cao Bang Mineral and Industry Joint Stock Company on April 26 kicked off construction of a mangan dioxide plant in Trung Khanh district, northern mountainous Cao Bang province.

The 200 billion VND (12.5 million USD) factory is expected to be the largest in Cao Bang province with most equipment imported from Japan .
Once operational in the second quarter of 2009, the plant will turn out 10,000 tonnes of products per year and 99.6 percent of them will be exported to Japanese and European markets.

Previously, the Cao Bang Mineral and Industry Company put into operation a 15,000 tonne fero mangan factory in the district.-Enditem
