Havana (VNA) - Cuba and Bolivia have signed three agreements to strengthen bilateral cooperation and friendship, said the Cuban news agency.

The two agreements, signed in Havana on April 28 by Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque and his Bolivian counterpart David Choquehuanca, pertain to penal sanctions and the protection and restoration of cultural legacies and heritage.

The two countries also inked a third agreement on cooperation in sports and physical education, the news agency reported.

During official talks earlier between the two ministers, Cuban Foreign Minister Perez Roque reaffirmed his country's support to the Bolivian people, President Evo Morales' government and the reform and democratic process in Bolivia.
