Volunteer programme launched to clean up Hanoi

Hanoi (VNA) – More than 1,000 young volunteers have joined a programme to clean up the capital city of Hanoi as the city is approaching its 1,000th founding anniversary. The Hanoi Association of Volunteers (HAV) launched the programme “Green-Hanoi-1,000 years” at its debut on May 4. The HAV, which groups 11 volunteers’ clubs and organisations, plans to carry out several more campaigns on environment, health and sports this year.-Enditem
