National steering board for Indoor Games set up

Hanoi (VNA) – The Prime Minister has established a National Steering Board for Preparation and Organisation of the 3rd Asian Indoor Games, to be held by Vietnam in 2009. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan was appointed as Head of the board and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh, the deputy head. The steering board is entrusted with the responsibility of guiding and supervising relevant ministries, branches, Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and other localities in their preparations for the 3rd Asian Indoor Games. The board will also support the relevant bodies to resolve any problems arising from preparing and organising the event.-Enditem
