Footballers struck by lightning

Hanoi (VNA) – A lightning bolt struck the Vinh Long Stadium football pitch in the 12 th minute of Friday’s game against Kien Giang seriously injuring two players and leaving many others in shock. Kien Giang’s Tran Thanh Truong and Vinh Long’s Pham Thien Chuong were rushed unconscious to hospital. Truong is still in a critical condition, unable to move his arms and legs and breathe unassisted. The two teams resumed the match on Saturday with Kien Giang winning 2-0.-Enditem
