India’s coast guard rescues Vietnam vessel

New Delhi (VNA) – The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has rescued 15,000-tonne Vietnamese cargo vessel Sao Bien on the high sea offshore southern India’s Andhra Pradesh. Sao Bien became stranded when fishing net caught in its propeller. It was drifting as Cyclone Nargis brewed over the Indian Ocean. All 19 crew members of the 79-metre-long vessel are safe, an Indian official said.-Enditem
