Hanoi (VNA) – Over 20,000 people with disabilities in Thai Binh and Quang Ngai provinces are expected to directly benefit from a 1.2 million USD programme to improve rehabilitation facilities in area hospitals.

The project is an initiative developed by the East Meets West Foundation with financial support from the Ford Foundation and other donors
to help create channels of medical, educational and training services for people with disabilities in Vietnam in areas affected by dioxin contamination.

The programme was implemented first in central Quang Ngai province last year and is now also operating in northern Thai Binh province.-Enditem
