Hanoi (VNA) – The Korea Disabled Veterans Organisation will provide funding worth 2 million USD to build a peace village in Vietnam’s central province of Quang Nam.

The Vietnam-Republic of Korea peace village will include a rehabilitation centre for Vietnamese war victims.

The centre is expected to provide care for between 80 and 100 war veterans and their children who suffer from various ailments resulting from exposure to defoliants during the Vietnam war.

The Quang Nam authorities have agreed to provide land and administrative assistance to the new rehabilitation centre.-Enditem
